Jody began experimenting with living food recipes to “liven up” the family's raw food diet. The living foods they created were the inspiration for their Café and it has been a great success.
A living foods diet does not have to be all lettuce and carrot sticks. Through experimentation with spices and equipment almost any cooked food can be replicated using live ingredients.
Children are harsh food critics and keeping them interested and excited about meal time can be a challenge especially if they have been raised on cooked foods. Reconditioning the body to accept and crave living foods can be fun and successful if you are willing to experiment.
Jody is a certified living foods chef and instructor formally trained with raw chef, Ms. Cohen, and is teaching living food preparation classes. She is now teaching a 2 day class 3 day “hands on” certification class from her home. The Cafe, was a meeting place for Living Foodists and people just looking for a Healthy Alternative to eating out.
Jody's husband Joey is a life coach whose primary focus is providing people with information and counseling on alternative healing methods. Joey has worked with patients considered terminal by traditional physicians and has seen full recoveries through proper diet, herbal treatments and emotional releasing and just being happy!
Kathy has a degree in Communicaions and training/work as a script supervisor for film/television/music videos and commercials makes navigating and timing the serving of foods imperative. In the past, health challenges and unecessary weight gain forced her to re-evaluate her lifestyle and eating choices.
Recently, the living foods chefs of WorkingGirl.com were invited to prepare, sell and serve living foods in the Cafe at the Burzynski Clinic in Huston, Texas. You can find our living foods chefs on location on Film Sets, Television Shows, Music Videos, Fairs, Seminars, Photograpy Shoots and Commercials. Many families like our living food chef to prepare the meals before everyone arrives from school and work. And the kitchen is clean when finished!
